What is your board's URL? https://wildtangentfansite.com/Forum/index.php
Who do you host your board with? iPower
How did you install your board? I used the download package from phpBB.com
What is the most recent action performed on your board? Update from a previous version of phpBB3
Is registration required to reproduce this issue? Yes
Do you have any MODs installed? Yes, ABBC3
Do you have any extensions installed? No
What version of phpBB3 did you update from? phpBB 3.0.12
What styles do you currently have installed? prosilver, subsilver2
What language(s) is your board currently using? English
Which database type/version are you using? MySQL 5
What is your level of experience? Comfortable with PHP and phpBB
What username can be used to view this issue? iPower_User
What password can be used to view this issue? [Please send me a PM for the password as this requires Admin access]
What actions did you take (updating your board; installing a MOD, style or extension; etc.) prior to this problem becoming noticeable? I removed all Mods,
removed any unused Mod installed folders and files,
used stk to clean the database (with no errors),
deleted the old software,
installed the new software,
copied over the config.php file that I had saved,
ran the program in the install folder to update the database (with no errors),
deleted the install folder.
Please describe your problem. The forum appears to work normally for regular members but there is a series of about 5 forums that should be visible to Staff members which are not. I have verified the Group Forum Permissions are all correct but nothing I seem to do seems to make any difference.

How did you do that?
  1. Open ACP
  2. Select Forums tab
  3. Select Group forums permissions
  4. Look up usergroup and submit
  5. Highlight appropriate forums and submit
  6. Verify correct Forum permissions and click on Apply all permissions
  7. Go Back to previous page
  8. Look up usergroup and submit
  9. Highlight appropriate forums and submit
  10. Select type Moderator permissions and click Go
  11. Verify correct Forum permissions and click on Apply all permissions
When I check the forum, I still do not have access to the forums.

NEVERMIND! Stupid me, for some reason I added myself to a group that did not have permission to see the forums. When I removed the group, I could again see everything I was supposed to.

Sorry for the false alarm but your response caused me to recheck other settings which is when I found the problem.
