Reason on editing

Hi all,

this is what I would like to do. I am running a subsilver edition of phpbb3 -xand- and I would like to display the "reason" every time a moderator edits a post. While this is done in prosilver , in subsilver this is not done.

Is there something that can be done about it? What files do I need to edit?

Thank you in advance.

You need to ask this in the style's support topic.

it is? unless you fill the reason field in at the bottom, prosilver will just go ahead and do the edit, no reason is shown!

I am with you though, Moderators should IMO always include a reason but there is no "error message" to the moderator (even in prosilver) such as "You did not include a reason, edit the message without a reason?" even that would be good, but we currently have the edit system for mods (and Admins) that relies on them going to the reason field and filling it out

Well, that is up to the moderator or administrator if he wishes to leave a message but this is not my point.

Take a prosilver style. Suppose you are a moderator and you edit a post and you a leave a reason for editing. Then in the legend of the post you , then, see dashed lines and below them in bold the word reason. Something like this.

---------
Last edited by ....
Reason: ....

If you do the same procedure in subsilver styles , well you get the same except the reason in bold is missing. I would like to add this functionality but I don't know what files to edit. I am posting the question again in style's support topic.
