Hiding "This board has no forums"

Post by T.C. » Sat Sep 10, 2016 6:25 pm

All the forums on my board are hidden to guests. When the board is viewed by someone who is not logged-in, they see the message "This board has no forums." That message is inaccurate, and I would like to change it or eliminate it completely. How can I do that?

Search for "This board has no forums" in language/en/common.php and change it to whatever text you like. Don't forget to save the file with encoding UTF-8 without BOM and use a good editor, see Knowledge Base - Tools needed to set up and customise phpBB.

Purge the cache.
