Please describe your problem.

I just had a user activated and tested his permissions and it seems like he can edit my posts. He currently has no role assigned.
I know this can be caused by an overlapping of permissions. What are all the places to check and correct to fix this problem?

Thanks

first, if you are checking while being logged in as yourself and testing his permissions, you also have your own permissions. the only way to really test is to log out as yourself and log back in as the user.

I am not sure what real benefit that "test user permission" thing is.

I don't think it the initial idea was to keep the administration permissions.
If it doesn't work then it serves no purpose

Thanks for the reply

When you test a user's permissions, you are still you.
In other words, if the user can edit his own posts, then when you test his permissions, you can edit your own posts. You need to test trying to edit someone else's posts.
