Automatic update from 3.0.11 to 3.0.14 stuck in updating files...

I copied over the files for /install for automatic update of 3.0.11 to 3.0.14. and I clicked on update database and next step it was justs stuck at progress ... updating files.

I did it over and over again and still stuck at same place.
I also tried to chown and chmod the install folder to same user as other folders in my forum. it didnt help.

any idea?

Make sure the /store folder is writeable.

I did chmod -R 755 on store, and still same problem.

I tried 777 for store folder, it says this,

Updating database to latest stable release

Database type :: mysqli
Previous version :: 3.0.11
Updated version :: 3.0.14

Updating database schema

Progress :: No updates required

Updating data

Progress :: . .

gets stuck here, how long am I supposed to wait after progress ... ?

It should only take a few seconds. Ask your hosts if something is stopping that script from running.

I am my own host, which process or script do you I need to look at ? which log file path?

Server setup is outside the scope of this board but you need to look at the server and error logs to see if the script is being blocked somewhere.

well obviously it is running that, other wise it wont even load in the browser. there should be some Logs or Debug that at which line it is stuck.

I enabled the php server errors, there is none ! (in php log)
and also no error on mysql database server.

is there anyway to enable the debug option in this automatic update to see on which line its stuck ?
