My update from 3.0.12 to 3.0.14 had no impact/change on the problem.
Please describe your problem. Synchronize with LDAP fails :

Ldap authentication is used on this site and User auth for individual users works fine. In the ACP under the general tab there is a "Synchronize with LDAP" button. Upon execution, after the confirmation dialogue, I get a pause then a 500 error.

A network trace shows the ldap query runs to completion so the ldapload.php script must be failing after the ldap query. The maddening part is i am getting nothing in my httpd logs not the database logs table. php.ini has "error_reporting = E_ALL | E_STRICT" set . Problem duplicated on vm-clone for testing.
