I already installed it and had a bunch of stuff setup, but if they aren't going to release updates for beta to final then I won't go public with it.

I suppose it is a good choice of the developers to not release converters then... Such a shame, I would love to be able to upgrade my test installs.

Has this become the "ask any question you like about Olympus" thread?

Modifying the software, which includes building new styles, is not supported at the moment. Having said that, take a look at http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB. There's an entire section dedicated to styling.

they do it the same way you would have to do it...manually The difference is that area51 has the devs working on it :) It has been said all along that if your knowledge of databases and php was advanced enough tat you could probably update it yourself through the betas. LEts be honest though, very few of us are as advanced as the devs or enough to be able to do this.

I upgraded my test board from beta 1 to beta 2, but then again I am an experienced coder. It is not a wise decision to try and upgrade beta 1 to beta 2 folks...it's just one big headache, even for me. Although for those who are starting new boards with beta2, i suspect upgrading to the next official release would be much much easier.
