Is there a way to have it to where you could have an email link.
Ex. Instead of having just... because when you type in test@example.com it'll automatically change it to mailto:test@example.com on my boards.

Any idea on how to do this?

Based on what you asked, it does exactly what you want it to but doesn't require any tags to be used
comes up as:
example@example.com

Not on my forum, it displays the mailto:test@example.com
But thats not what I want, I want to be able to change the text but still link to same thing if that makes more sence.

Use: Which comes up as:
Text here

I got the same problem...

When I use tags it shows [email]abcd@example.com[/email] as abcd@example.com

but I simply type it without tags as in abcd@example.com it shows mailto:abcd@example.com

I presume that is not correct since if I type abcd@example.com here and let the board automatically parse URLs it shows abcd@example.com (without 'mailto:')


So what to do... anyone???

Its a bug in RC1 which has been fixed iirc.
