overall header help!!

Post by andynf »

I'm trying to change the header file, but I am having trouble trying to get my images to go right up to the very top of the web page.

Does anybody know how to do it?

In your css, the body tag has padding:

Code: Select all

padding: 12px 0;
This puts 12-pixels padding top and bottom.

I dunno. I have never accessed the css files directly. I have always done it from the ACP under Styles/Themes and click "edit" next to proSilver.

The one in the body tag.

Code: Select all

body {
there is also a

Code: Select all

#page-body {
that might affect it too.

You have to hit Refresh a few times before your webbrowser picks up the new CSS

I just tried it on my own....

I found the body tag and changed the padding from "12px 0" to "2px 0".
I went to my index and pressed the Refresh bottom.
That shoved the top-section almost to the top...

Here is a before/after picture:

As I said...
I found the "body" tag in the Theme edit, and changed the "padding: 12px 0" to "padding: 2px 0"
