This is a complete waste of time I'm afraid. Hasn't anyone ever heard of a screen grab? There is absolutely no way you can prevent images being taken from a web page.

The trick to discover hidden text is just to click "quote" ;)

Hi, i'll like to add a custom bbcode that makes text scroll all the way across your screen.

See the top posting on page 144 of this thread.

Yeah, thanks for showing me that but this one is different you can change the colour, font, size, and loads of other stuff. :)

You can with that one. Just nest your other BBcodes within it. Here's a daft posting from my forum using a few effects with it: Scrolling rainbow text.

Hello.
The smilies are very nice when needed, but I find them annoying to stare at me while posting.
What I would need is a BBcod to integrate the smilies in an dropdown box, so that the Smilies are present just when they are needed.
Thanks

That would require a mod not a BBCode. I think there are a few such mods in here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=81 If you can't find exactly what you want you could request one in the same area.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me.

I want to add a weekly quiz question on my forum, with a simple "submit" button, so that users can hit that button & it will PM me & they can type in their answer.

I have managed to do that by making a bbcode called "submit", which looks like this:

[submit]{TEXT}[/submit]

<a href="./ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=98"><img src="./images/submit.gif"

It comes up looking like this:
Image

It is working fine, but 1 little ability I'd like to add is that the name of the topic (eg "Todays Quiz" will come up in the subject line of the PM...

One way I tried to do it was with action=quotepost&
but that made the user's PM look really messy as it quoted all my original editing .

I would just like the PM to quote the topic subject, if that is at all possible.

I need to have a drop down box made that shows a list of reptiles.

Here is the code the user is trying to use in a signature:

[drop]My Gang[option]0.1.0 Californian King Snake (Pixie)[/option][option]0.0.1 Cresty(Doobie)[/option][option]0.1.0 Mexican red rump tarantula(Bandit)[/option][option]0.0.1 common boa(Santa)[/option][option]1.0.0 Bosc Monitor(Codie)[/option][option]0.0.1 A.Versicolor slings[/option][/drop]

Obviously there is no BBCode for this, can anyone help me out with the right custom code :D

Hi,

Does anyone know how to make the following mp3/podcast player bbcode accept urls with gaps between letters ?

Example...

j the demo

Code: Select all

[mp4]j the demo/2009/07/july222009.mp3[/mp4]
The url works in the browser but not in the player unless i remove the gaps:--> jthedemo

BBCode:

[Podcast]{URL}[/Podcast]
