I have installed PHPBB before quite a few times but today I signed up for a new web host and doing a bit of testing when I ftp'ed my files I have of PHPBB v3 rc5 and all seemed to go fine but when I locate it in my browser I can't seem to get anything to come up except a blank installation page see http://wired.xoomwebs.com/forum/ or http://wired.xoomwebs.com/phpBB3 as I tried it twice and with both it adds the /install/index.php directory onto it to install it but nothing but a blank white page.

Can anyone help me please...

Can you check the server error log to see what is happening?

No I don't have access to anything like that on this particular server.

I have a different webhost I use and no problems but with Xoomwebs the webhost I signed up for and I am having problems with this forum being installed or even just showing up I have no server logs to check to see what is going on.

I probably could ask to see whether I can get a copy but it would take some time.

The blank page is indicative of a PHP error being suppressed, so seeing the relevant log entry to determine what that error is is more or less essential to debug it.

Ok.

I will request a copy of the server logs.

I have opened up a support ticket with my webhost for the information or a resolution.

Will let you know how it goes..
