Well I just installed a board on my server. Everything worked fine until I accesed the ACP
I've got an "General Error" wich says: "Module not accesible"
Then I should contact the board admin but that's me..
This is with the ACP,UCP and the MCP

Could you help me?

Kind Regards,
JureXL

Are you sure you are entering the exact name and password as you entered on the install page?
Make sure you match all upper and lower case characters. I know that's the obvious but sometimes thats what gets us.
If you are not sure you can log out then back in to your forum then at the apc window go to "I fogot my password" just to be sure.
If that don't work I guess maybe a clean re-install.

Are you sure that you have all the files in the includes/acp/, includes/ucp/ and includes/mcp/ folders on your server in the same directory structure?

Hi there,

i have done a conversion from phpbb2 to phpbb3 and it all went well, untill i got this exact same problem.
It log's me in fine as a user, so there is no username/password issue here.

After that i can log ni to all CP's: ACP, MCP and UCP. enter the details, it gives the all clear message and on re-direct to either CP it shows this message:

Code: Select all

General error
Module not accessible

Please notify the board administrator or webmaster:
I have tried re-uploading the files, everything. clearing cache, clearing browser cache, turning off cookies etc. etc. i'm using latest Firefox and have Kerio firewall on, aswell as Avast. But if i turn those off it makes no difference. any clues?

 FOUND IT!

Finally found it, i thought the only last possibility was to compare db's with another working forum on the same domain. I found that the following table was empty: phpbb_modules

so i copied it from the other board and inserted it into my db and i could finally log in as normal to all cp's.

problem solved.
