Legend Colors.

Post by SilverTsunami » Fri Dec 28, 2007 6:25 am

Hello,

I am having a hard time getting users legend colors to display correctly. I currently have Administrators in blue and Moderators in green.

The problem is... when a moderator logs on, their name doesn't show up Green. Anyone have any idea why this might be? The moderator is a created group, and I have the color set as green, and moderator shows in the legend as green, but users who are moderators do not.

Any ideas?

Admin control panel -> general tab -> quick access -> manage users

Enter the username of the user you wish to manage and submit and then on the users management screen there will be a drop down menu in the top right, in this menu select groups. You will then see a list of groups the user is a member of with a link to set them to the default group. Find the group you wish them to have as default and click the link to make it so :)

Assuming they are moderators by Group inherited rights this would allow you to do it all members in that Group in one set of actions.

ACP -->> Users and Groups -->> Groups -->> Manage Groups -->> Group (Options -->> Members) -->> Select(Mark) all Members in the Moderator Group -->> Dropdown (Make Group default for member) -->> Submit

In regards to this question. How would you list other groups in the legend? Such as I have administrator, global moderators and i also want such as elites.

When you make the group (or if it is made already, then edit it). You will see an option to display in legend. Click yes.

Admin control panel -> general tab -> quick access -> manage groups

For the groups you want to show click settings in that groups row. Then make sure the checkbox is checked for the option "Display group in legend:" and then submit :)
