Three things I would like to be changed, Pics are used.

Ok, basic forum run down. I'm using phpBB3 obviously lol. The I am using is X-treme Style. The page these are occuring on are boards with subforums.

1. The picture below shows 4 subforums. What I want changed is the title of those. Right now its using the first subforum for the title. I want it to use the title of the board they are in.


2. I want to remove the area to post new topics, only when there are subforums on that same page.

3. I want to remove the repetitive board navigation bar at the bottom.
i.e. Board index » General » Entertainment District


If you have any questions to make this any easier I'll be glad to answer them. I would try to fix them myself but I'm new to phpBB3 and coding. I used to use ProBoards lol. Thanks in advance.

'Bout your second question:
Try playing around with permissions.. Eg: Don't allow new topics is forum, but do allow them in subforums. I believe it should work

About the 3rd one:
The html file which shows these links is breadcrumbs_footer.html
In pages where it is displayed twice,(eg: index_body.html) remove

IMO you shouldn't remove it - it makes navigation easier...


EDIT: Perhaps in your template the file is named simply breadcrumbs.html, I don't have your style installed...

Not sure what you mean by removing it all the way...
You don't need to alter anything in breadcrumbs file. You just need to stop it from loading in any page that you do not want it to load.
So the example is :

If in your forum's index it is displayed both on the upper and in the lower side, search for this code:

It should be there twice
The first instance is the one on the upper side. So simply remove the second instance and you won't have it in the bottom anymore...

I found it once in more than 1 file, but never twice.

Set your forums that have subforums to "Read-only" in forum permissions.

Does that Remove it or, where it cant be posted in.

Setting a forum to Read-only removes the New Post Button.

That "Title" is part of your Style. It does not exist in prosilver. As for putting the Parent forum's Name there.... It used to be just above the table, but you moved it to the breadcrumb in your other post.
