Overall Header

What would I have to do to the overall header to put a logo all the way across the top of my forum and do away with the text and little phpbb logo.

Hi - I have seen this question around the forums and I have the same question. I see some of the folks who asked have got new headers but I don't see the answer anywhere

Is there a doc on how to customise the top header / banner - like the great ones in this forum? I want to replace the default thingie with something fab.

you can edit your overall_header as you will, like i did here

Yes I realise it's all changeable - just wondered if there are any instructions anywhere on which lines to delete to lose the header text, limitations on image size - how the boardnation foilks make the headers of this forum etc?
