Will mods for 3.0 not written specifically for Gold still work with it?
Are there any mods yet written for Gold? I can't find any.
There are several that we had before the upgrade that we would like to get back.

Most MODs written for RC6, RC7, or RC8 should work with the 3.0.0 gold release. Many MODs written for older versions will still work as well. By now, you should be able to find out by reading the topic in the MOD forums for that MOD

Thanks. I will try some and see. I just didn't want to bother if they were definitely not going to work. I am pretty new to this.

I have installed Evil Quick Reply and it works for 3.0 Gold.. so that shows most of the mods will work.
A Tip :: Keep a backup of files you edit and if you encounter any probs.. just replace them back
