no emails

ive done a quick search about my problem, and seen some similar but not my problem..

ive had my phpbb3 forum and and running for a while now, everythings been working lovely.. but the past 2 or 3 weeks my forums not sending any emails out... no confirmation emails, no reply emails.. nothing

i have no idea why, as im the only one with ACP access and ive changed no settings.. any ideas?

Are you using the default or SMTP settings?

hi, im using default.. i never used smtp on my old forum or the v3 forum..

You may want to check with your host as they may have made changes. You could also try the SMTP option.

I am having the same problem at the moment. We had a site hosted with a host who just couldn't give us the reliability that we needed, so we moved to another host; basically we just copied the database over and uploaded the exact same files as we had on the old host. A quick change to config.php sorted everything except this, and it's only when mass-mailing. I've installed a fresh forum and that one mass mails just fine. I've copied the settings and there's nothing different so I'm confused as to what's going on!

I'm having this exact same problem.

I have v2.0.22 and 3.0.0 both on the same host. v2 sends emails fine. v3 does not. v3 only works when i send to a single person, but the board does not send the confirmation email to individuals upon account activation. In the error log, I have the same error as posted above and i cannot send mass emails due to that error.

Again, all this works fine on v2, but not v3 and they are on the same host.

even m having the problem sending mass e-mail using php function. Mails are easily going to the new regiration made, n also individually but when i send this to all get the same above posted error.
