I have a few problems with my board

I recently converted from 2.0.23 to 3.0 Gold....

Everything seems pretty much in order except for a few things...

1. No Avatars will display, do I need to have members re upload them?

2. HTML will not work in sig lines.

3. bbcode will not work at all

4. Birthday's are not showing although I have every possible thing I can think of checked to YES t display the Birthday section on index page, but it's not working...

Any ideas?????

1. Is your avatar folder writeable? Some hosts have problems with that, and do not allow writing of that folder automatically. Set it to writable in your hosting control panel.
2. HTML is not allowed in phpBB3, for security reasons, at all.
3. Have you set the user-posting-permissions correctly? As in; Are they allowed to use BBCode by permission?
4. The birthday-list is not showing when there are no birthdays.

2. Bummer (but can deal with that)

3. I guess so, I am doing further research on this

4. Why not? Is there anyway to make it show all the time?

Avatars dont seem to make the conversion. Either you users will have to re-upload them or you can put them all in the gallary. (Images > avatars > gallery)

With phpBB3 HTML is no longer used on posts. Its all BBCodes. Its just an HTML replacement. This topic here should help you out with BBCodes http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 6&t=579376

They have most likely changed from phpBB2. See the link above.

Open Styles > Your Style > Templates > Index_body.html
Find:

Replace With:

Purge your cache and your all set
