"General Error"

I try to acess my forum but only shows that:
General Error
Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions
What is the problem?

You will need to CHMOD the cache folder to 777.

I do that with all files in the Chache directory and don´t works....

Did you CHMOD the directory itself to 777 or just the files it contained?

Only the files....But now I "chmod" the directory itself to 777 and works.. Thank you guys.....

Hey,
i have this problem
"Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions"

i changed chmod to 777
but i see that error again and again !

help me plz !

Please note that we have a six hour bump limit. If your folder permissions aren't sticking, you may have to ask your host.

can i DELETE this folder ?!
when i deleted that, forums work well

If you deleted it, you should make a new cache folder, as the forum will try to write things to it.

Oh!
wow! with chmod 644 that works !!
with chmod 644 will i get problem ? can it make a problem for me later ? or not, it's not too important and i can empty this folder when i want. ha ?

It should be 777. Some servers do allow internal writing on 644 and throw errors on 777, but that is not the norm. The cache folder can be emptied because the files will come back as the server caches the data.

is it influence on speed of loading page ? or make a problem for users ?
