Post by Vyrosian »

I miffed my boards and I am trying to restore to a backup I did just prior to the update. I am getting the following error. Any help would be very much appreciated....
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/avalon-l/public_html/community/includes/acp/acp_database.php on line 2239

Restore the backups you made prior to doing the upgrade.

Didnt make any backup? Try to undo what you wrote.

Cant? Reinstall phpbb3.

When I try to run the restore of the backup I did prior to the upgrade, the above error is what I am receiving.

A) Check out the forum rules on bumping posts...

B) See if there are any SQL timeouts enforced on your hosts MySQL Database.

C) See if you can split up the data that's going in, to not hit the timeout.

Just change your php.ini or php.cfg's max_execution_time value higher depending on your database size.

If you don't have access to these files try to create an .htaccess file in the root of your website and add this on the file;

Code: Select all

php_value max_execution_time 1800
Don't forget to delete it for security reasons after you upload your backup.
