Soft delete PHP event, or force hard delete posts?

Post by aster59 »

I am using the event:

https://wiki.phpbb.com/Event_List#core. ... osts_after

It only works when it is a hard delete.

Is there a php soft delete event? I couldn't find anything.

If not, can I force a hard delete anytime a user and admin/moderator deletes something? No optional restore. I might prefer that anyway as most social media is like that, but regardless I really need the event to work on first delete.

Thanks!

Set the moderator permission "Can soft delete posts" to No or Never.

Thanks, that is what I ended up doing for admins, moderators, and users allowed to delete their own posts. The event doesn't exist as far as I can tell.
