user.lastvisit lower than user.lastpost_time - is the db spoiled ?

Post by Zbigniew Lisiecki »

Excuse me if this is not the correct place to ask this question, but I hope developers could know best. My phpbb forum is sucessfully working since 2006. Several version changes took place in this time. I found some curious last activity time statistics in memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile, which is simply lower than lastpost time. Posting is a form of activity, so it should be the other way round.

The db has some redundant information: last posting time is written in users table, but it should be also the maximum of post time from the posts table. ACP should offer some consistency checks, than.

Is my db is spoiled in the case, when user.lastvisit is lower than user.lastpost_time or is one of them never used, nor updated any more ?
