Please describe your problem. I tried updating my 'test' board using the 'Automatic update package', but every time I point my browser to the 'install' directory, I get a blank page. I re-downloaded and copied the 'install' folder again, but had the same result. I checked the file permissions and they look fine.
I have updated my board many times before (being using phpBB for years now), but never got a blank page on the 'install' directory (otherwise the board is working fine). My test board is on 'localhost' and is an exact copy of my 'live' board. I enabled all error reporting in my php.ini and now I get this message, instead of the blank screen:
Fatal error: You have not set up composer dependencies. See http://getcomposer.org/. in /home/vstam/Websites/gos/public_html/forum/install/update/new/includes/startup.php on line 180 The rest of the board functions fine. I used this
https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/ ... b4.tar.bz2 .
Any thoughts welcome.
