What's the purpose for this feature under the UCP?

Manage “Remember Me” login keys

I read this guide, but it doesn't tell me what the main purpose for this on end-users? https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... p_profile/

Say you've logged into your board from multiple devices. Lets say one of those is your laptop. Your laptop gets stolen, you go to your forum, and delete the login key for your laptop. Whoever stole it can no longer do anything to your forum as they are effectively logged out.

I currently have hundreds of these keys, to the point that the "delete" function can't delete them if I "select all".
