How-to remove read notifications ?

There's nothing to delete old notifications in UCP ? It would increase DB at infinite !
I even found nothing about that in ACP. Is there an auto purge ?

Read notifications are automatically deleted after a certain period (default is 30 days), defined in the ACP => Load settings - Read Notification Expiration.

Dear members, I need to remove read posts from notification menu or bring unread once at top. is there any way to doing this?

did you read the post you replied to?

you can set the time for deleting in the admin panel.

Yes but my question is little related to the topic. All I want is to remove read notifications after user read is it from user point of view. Otherwise user need to go down to find the new unread topics in "Notifications" menu.

Then you should have started your own topic.

Why would they not just use the provided unread posts search option?

Thanks Oyabun1. I will inform them to use "Unread topics" link rather than notification menu.
