ACP_CAT_MODS tab

Post by C100 » Sat Nov 08, 2014 12:14 pm

Hi

I upgraded my phpbb 3.0.12 board using the full 3.1 package (and subsequently to 3.1.1 with the auto update)

I am left with what I think was the AutoMod tab showing as ACP_CAT_MODS tab
AutoMod and STK were the only non standard/default functions/mods I had to the board.

Is there any easy way to get rid of this unneeded tab without having to revert back to 3.0.12 and start the update again?

system tab
module management
administration control panel

You should be able to remove the errant entries there.

You can remove the AutoMOD modules from the database with this SQL query

Code: Select all

DELETE FROM phpbb_modules WHERE module_langname IN ('ACP_CAT_MODS', 'ACP_MODS', 'ACP_AUTOMOD', 'ACP_AUTOMOD_CONFIG')
Change phpbb_ if that is not your table prefix.

Always backup the database before making any changes to it.

See Executing SQL Queries in phpMyAdmin if you are unfamiliar with running queries.

After running the query purge the board's cache.

Sorry to resurrect this topic,

I've just done the above which worked like a charm.
I also have an extensions tab that was associated with board announcements still there.
Is it possible to help remove this in the same way?

I get the following error when clicking the tab

Code: Select all

General Error
Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/\phpbb\boardannouncements\acp\board_announcements_module.php

No worries, just sorted it out by re-uploading the addons to the same path as the errors.
