Support Request Template
What version of phpBB are you using? phpBB 3.1.1
What is your board's URL? http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylonforum
Who do you host your board with? http://www.powweb.com
How did you install your board? I used the download package from phpBB.com
What is the most recent action performed on your board? Fresh Install
Is registration required to reproduce this issue? No
Do you have any MODs installed? No
What styles do you currently have installed? ByYourCommand (Prosilver clone)
What language(s) is your board currently using? English
Which database type/version are you using? MySQL 5
What is your level of experience? New to PHP but not phpBB
When did your problem begin? Unsure... very rare to even find the issue.
Please describe your problem. It seems a Username with an apostrophe creates an error and can not be add to the friend list.

Details:

-Viewing profile of member Username:
Hope It's The Grog

-Clicked Add friend link

-Alert Box opens:
CONFIRM
Are you sure you wish to carry out this operation? (Click Yes)

-Second Alert Box opens:
INFORMATION
The usernames you specified could either not be found or are not activated users. (That self closes)

Odd, as Hope It's The Grog is a active member in good standing. He has never reported errors himself resulting from an apostrophe in his user name.

it is simple. remove the apostrophe from his name and tell him not to use it. they often cause these types of problems. I would assume it is because the apostrophe is often used in coding and in some cases it confuses the scripts.
