adding facebook link to banner

Hi, I'm a novice at PHP but I am the site maintenance guy for our club website (www.mbcc.ie). I recently updated to phpBB 3.1 and lost a few features i'd like back.
I may be asking in the wrong forum, so apologies if I am

I used to have a link to our club facebook page on the main page. I see that this forum has social media link on the page banner. How do I add those to my site? I've found instruction for doing this for 3.0 but not for 3.1. i tries following the 3.0 instructions but they seem fundamentally different. I was hoping there was an extension to allow this but if that's how it's done I couldn't find it?

Also there is a menu bar under the banner on this site? How would i go about adding one of those? Is it a theme, style or extension? Sorry, obviously clueless as to the structure of phpBB

this applies to 3.0 but works in 3.1 with one change:

I am working on a how to for the menu bar. you can use the custom code extension with just a little tweak to put your menu code under the header bar. however, if you want to put one under the navbar it works as is.

In the instructions it says:

But that does not exist in 3.1.4.

What to change to move the buttons away from the search box?

Or better yet, how do I put the buttons on the left side?

You should use an extension, something like [RC1] Share This in development for instance, I think there may be others. Otherwise you should be asking in styles support.

No, that is different. I already have the EXT Share On. What this code does is add a link to your Facebook site page a Twitter page and the RSS link. I'm mainly concerned about maybe moving this below the search box or to the left of the search box. Not sure what code to edit.

I used this Facebook button.

What does border radius do because it is not making my button display right.
