Post by TopSpace » Mon Feb 23, 2015 3:13 pm

Finally updated my phpBB to newer version, on localhost. But after that I buttons "refresh" and "edit" styles are gone and also I cant login in to "customize modules" (or how is it on english, the last inset, after "system" in Admin CP.

in the "Actions" only "Information", "Deactive", "Delete" , "Preview" links.

3.1 no longer has those options.

I assume this is your old autoMOD tab. That won't work in 3.1.

You can remove it by running this

If you have not added any extensions you can remove non standard modules and permissions by:
  1. Make sure you make a backup of your database before proceeding.
  2. Uploading this file, modission_reset.php, to the root of your board installation on the server.
  3. Log into the board as a founder and/or admin.
  4. Navigate your browser to the file, for example http://www.example.com/example_forum/modission_reset.php
  5. Choose modules and permissions and run the file
  6. It will tell you how many modules and permissions it deletes, or may give you some other message if all is not well. Make a note of that.
  7. It should automatically delete itself from the server, if it can't it will tell you.

Also "moderators" are stopped showing in forumlist.

The option to turn that on and off is (and always was) in the general > load settings section. The display of that has not changed in 3.1. You may have had something that was style dependent.

Admin panel
general tab
Load settings are near the bottom.

Then you want
Enable display of moderators:

Thank you. But tab doesnot go away and it shows error:
BACKTRACE

FILE: (not given by php)
LINE: (not given by php)
CALL: msg_handler()

FILE: [ROOT]/includes/functions_module.php
LINE: 563
CALL: trigger_error()

FILE: [ROOT]/adm/index.php
LINE: 81
CALL: p_master->load_active()
Is it system tab where I can customize modules? because I dont see any links where I can enable/disable modules.

Forgot to mention that you should refresh the cache after running modission.

Open the board’s /cache folder on the server and delete everything except index.htm and .htaccess.
