I'm running old XMB forum for years.
Now decided to move onto phpBB platform.

we have very old andloyal customerbase. They can be difficult with changes. Therefore I'm trying to keep as much possible to look and feel same as the old forum was.

I have run into some difficulties so far.
If you look at the old forum ( than there are forums, subforums and topics.
I need to have same structure more-less in the new forum. All I have succeeded to generate on the forst page is nil. Only the same forum that was there as example and that's it.
Have not succeeded to create subforums or topics as visible in old forum.

I would appreciate if someone could point me to the page where the whole setup is explained or even better if someone could find 10-15 minutes to have a screencast with me and guide me through my misery to success.

With regards,

from what I have seen , the easiest thing is to convert your xmb board to smf using a convertor found at smf site. then, convert smf to phpbb using the smf convertor found here.
you will need to install smf and put the smf tables in the same database as the xmb board is using.
