MySQL 5 What is your level of experience? New to PHP and phpBB When did your problem begin? As I recall, it has always been a problem. Please describe your problem. I have a problem with attached PDF files. If I download a PDF from my phpBB board to my Android phone, it cannot be opened directly from the Downloads list ("File cannot be opened"). I have to go to the Adobe Reader app and open the file from there. PDF files from anywhere else work without a problem. For some reason, Android seems to think, that PDFs from my board shouldn't be opened with Adobe Reader.
I experience the same problem with Firefox or Chrome on Linux Mint. Usually, PDFs are opened directly in the browser with their respective built-in PDF viewer. PDFs from my board are instead downloaded. After that, I can open them without a problem with any PDF application.
I attached a sample PDF file, because the same problem applies to this board. I don't know, if I'm just doing something wrong, or if that is some kind of a bug.
Does anybody know what the problem might be and how it can be fixed? Generated by SRT Generator
I believe that happens because PDF's are part of the downloadable files extension group. so a download is initiated when the link is clicked upon. ACP / posting tab / manage attachment extensions.
I forgot to mention that that was my first thought too, but the PDFs are part of the DOCUMENTS group, downloadable content is not even allowed on my board.

So have you reported it in the Bug Tracker?
