Hi.
Are there any problems with jabber?
I tried 3 different jabber-servers, but every time there is an Error:
Es konnte keine Verbindung zum Jabber-Server aufgebaut werden.
Error: open_socket() - Connection refused
Error: connect() #2
I used jabber at Phpbb 3.0 a long time ago and all was running.
But with 3.1 no chance here.

Yep, just mainly called Xmpp now days. League of Legends uses a modified version of xmpp for the in-game chat client.

From the error message it may be that you host has the port used for XMPP closed. By default, in phpBB, it is set to use port 5222.

Yes, the Jabber network always exists.
And with my normal software its working. Only with Phpbb 3.1.5 its not working. Port is correct, also the name and password.

With Phpbb 3.0.14 its working, not with 3.1.5 :/
I think there is a bug.

I have a similar Problem: phpbb 3.1.6
I get no jabber account working!
Some ideas? When you Connection is working, which jabber-server do you use?

Sorry, but that is exactly what I did, but it does not work! That's my Problem!
Just by sending a message I get this:
