Restricting new users

Post by RebelT » Mon Sep 11, 2017 5:02 pm

Hi Guys, been searching for a while.

Does anyone know of a way to stop new users seeing old topics and posts. Example if user registered today 11th, can't see or reply to posts older than yesterday 10th.

You'd need to request an extension for then (if one could even be made).

What's the bigger idea behind it? It would be like joining a board with no one on it. What would be the point of that?

It's a committee forum with 6 members. Didn't want a new committee member reading old posts. Just looking for an alternative to emptying the forums really.

Is it an annual thing that the new people would join? You could just archive the old forum contents to a hidden forum.
