Converting MyISAM to InnoDB - any config change?

Post by horseguards » Sun Nov 26, 2017 7:14 pm

Hi,

My site is hosted in my own dedicated server with MariaDB 10.0 and PHP 5.6

I am about to convert storage engine from MyISAM to InnoDB.

I know how to do it, but I don't know if there is anything I should change in phpBB after the convertion, or if it work straight away without further modifications.

Thanks for your advice.

It should work without any problems. I regularly switch between engines (purely for copying databases).
A bug is a feature that didn't make it to the manual (yet)
