OK, it seems it has worked. I got the following messages:

"The installer has finished successfully"
"Take me to the ACP"

"The database update was successful."

HOWEVER, I also got this message just below:

Code: Select all

[phpBB Debug] "BOARD_DISABLE" in file /home/*****/public_html/forum/phpbb/user.php on line 351
I have no idea what is this about or how it will affect my forum.

I have not yet moved or renamed the install directory.

Delete /install and you should be good to go.

Oh yes, It seems everything is OK so far.
The "board-disable message" had to be me when I disabled the board myself from the CP before the update.

One last question:
In the config.php file, should I edit the 'mysqli' back to the original 'mysql'? Or should I leave it like that?
