Just tested on prosilver, and looks fine. So in my opinion it's the SE bug.

Its not. There is nothing different in SE in layout of private messages. The only difference is SE has fixed width. Maybe your browser window was too wide so you didn't notice it in prosilver?

Yep. And there is no enough space for 150px avatar and rank (as I said before). Also status bar is a background, Avatar is on top and the responsiveness is killing both. Scalable avatars/ranks will fix that bug. But it's not prosilver issue, prosilver was designed for fullscreen mode. SE for fixed mode.

Where to change overall width?

If you are getting same error (and you are) in prosilver when you reduce browser window's width, it is a prosilver issue.

You can change width in stylesheet.css. Look for #wrap

when you install phpbb it will already have prosilver installed.

you then download and install prosilver_se ( when it is released as final) and choose it as your default style if that is what you wish. it will work just fine as it is. do NOT delete or uninstall prosilver because prosilver_se needs it in order to work at all.

It's possible to deactivate prosilver and SE will still work, if you try to uninstall the style you will see the following:

Hi 5hock,
I think here you'll need to deactivate prosilver, rather than uninstall it. That way prosilver_se can still inherit templates that it needs to run properly and prosilver won't be available for selection by the members because it'd be deactivated.

If you just want to not have prosilver in use but the ability to choose other styles then deactivate it :)
Point I was making is that a style cannot be uninstalled if it's being used.

This is the style I think I want to run with. Is it safe to use on a live board yet?
