That's odd they work fine for me. Do you have subsilver activated?sittig wrote:Thanks for making and releasing this style!
I installed Aluminoid on Campertechniek.eu, a technical forum, where the style would fit perfectly.
IMHO it looks great (my 2400 visitors were used to subsilver2 and some are complaining ever since the upgrade!)
However, I cannot find the buttons "new topic" and "post reply"..... What am I doing wrong?
not because I want it, but because subsilver2 will eventually be phased out completely and many people will not even know they can get it because it does not come with the download and is it not very easy to find.Thunderbolt10031 wrote:Hey I have a question for you all. Would you like for me to make this style for the prosilver platform?
Oh... looks like I came in with this style a little late, but that's ok it will probably be a whole lot cooler on the prosilver platform anyway . The only thing that bothers me is trying to find the correct CSS file you need in prosilver because it has a ton of them and the names aren't that clear either.Lumpy Burgertushie wrote:not because I want it, but because subsilver2 will eventually be phased out completely and many people will not even know they can get it because it does not come with the download and is it not very easy to find.Thunderbolt10031 wrote:Hey I have a question for you all. if you can convert it to prosilver based it would probably be much better for you and for anyone wanting to use it.
it always has been a nice looking style.
Thanks for the info! That will help me out a lot.Lumpy Burgertushie wrote:you can use your own css files that will work in place of the prosilver ones.
as to your question about the prosilver css files;
colours.css will have the colors and the images
common.css will have most everything else
if you can't find it in those two then check the content.css and/or the buttons.css files.
I agree that it would be better without so many different css files.
Subsilver2 disappeared completely somewhere between 3.0.12 and 3.1.2....Thunderbolt10031 wrote: That's odd they work fine for me. Do you have subsilver activated?
That link goes to Subsilver2. Go to the ACP go to styles and then preview Aluminoid then go to a topic and post the the link you have in the browser. Just make sure that its under the Aluminoid preview.sittig wrote:Just a random page from my forum (standard style is now again subsilver2): http://www.campertechniek.eu/phpbb3/vie ... =47&t=6167
The links are there, but the buttons are invisible. I tried it in Chrome, Firefox and Safari....
Alright i'll take care of it later.Hanakin wrote:please include both screenshots & demos with styles this helps the review processes
