I answered in your other post. to make it short... it works if you do it right. I just tested it to be sure.

what , exactly are you doing?

one of the problems might be if you are just renaming your file to sitelogo.gif and it is really a jpg or png file.

if that is it, then leave it as jpg or png or whatever it is and then edit the imageset.css file to reflect the actual file name.

are you purging the cache after making the changes?

are you refreshing your browser?

what type of file was it before you renamed it ?
what is the file name now?
what do you have in the imageset.css file?

the one that the style uses is a png file. if your new logo image was not a png file then you can 't just rename a gif or jpg to png

sorry it took so long to reply.
right now your imageset.css file has this for the background image:

Code: Select all

.imageset.site_logo {
	background-image: url("./images/site_logo.png");
	padding-left: 120px;
	padding-top: 85px;
}
the image is here: http://www.liverpoolcomics.com.br/forum ... e_logo.png

assuming that is the correct image then have done it properly.

you need to edit the imageset.css file and change the padding-left and padding-top to the size of your image
in this case: padding-left: 330px; and padding-top: 68px;

and then you need to purge the cache.

Hey prosk8r: Fantastic style! Am using it on my board, but would like to change the avatar/profile to the left side instead of above the post. I notice there have been a few other users who have requested this. I was going to attempt modifying the PHP and CSS files, but after taking a look at the code... frankly it just seems a bit too daunting for me.

I tried registering at your website (gotskillslounge) but apparently I'm not bright enough to get past the "playthru" bot-stopper (or, more accurately, the "PlayThru" game doesn't appear on the registration page). So I am posting here hoping you will see it. As mentioned on your website, I am willing to send a paypal donation your way to get this done.

Hello... I have had this skin a while now and have always wanted to add an inner background rather than just having the grey colour.. (there are also Red gradient images in use now, but i can sort those)

I have recently upgraded my site to Wordpress, and want the forum to match it exactly.. i DONT really want to try and integrate it fully.. just have it the same style..

So my questions are.. HOW, and WHERE would i add my top and bottom bars for the images i have in the top header and footer of my site? They are static on the webpages.. i like that they show on mobile devices, where as on the forum the top logo doesnt show when on a device..

Main forum here http://www.ghostface.co.uk/forum/index.php

Site pages with added top and bottom div images..

http://www.ghostface.co.uk

The other thing is the main site rollovers...... how to add then below the forum logo?
