Change width of forum title column

Post by Jessica » Sat Apr 19, 2014 7:36 pm

The forum title column - that's to the left of Topics and contains the forum title and description (and anything else, like subforums) - is a bit too wide for my liking. I can't seem to find in the css files how to decrease it, though. At the same time, I'd also like the last post column width to be increased a bit. Not sure why 3.1 made the forum title column so wide... :?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but in content.css file:

Code: Select all

li.header dt .list-inner {
	margin-right: 410px;

Hi Jessica,
you could try - please take a look, change - not a finished code. Just my first test on Version: 3.1.0-RC2 ~ Build 1641 / prosilver (determined only with firebug):

Code: Select all

li.header dt {
    font-weight: bold;
    margin-right: -440px;
    width: 100%;
also search

Code: Select all

ul.topiclist dt {
    font-size: 1.1em;
    margin-right: -440px;
    width: 100%;
Change width: 100% -> example: 88% ( or 94% ?). Both values must be identical.
Than please test, check all your templates and please controlling your style under your responsive entries.

I have changed this today on my test-board, I find no mistake.
