not really. by now you could have just pasted it in anywhere and tried it to see.

remember, as long as you always backup any file before you change it, you are never more than a couple of clicks away from complete recoverty if things go "peculiar" (as someon once said ).

Works great for topics, thanks. Can someone tell me how to get avatars to resize on profile pages?

There is an error in memberlist_email.html. If a user is logged in and tries to use the Contact admin link, the subject line does not appear. The form submission fails because the subject field is blank. To fix, add the following at line 51:

Code: Select all

		<tr>
			<td class="row1" width="35%"><b class="genmed">{L_SUBJECT}</b></td>
			<td class="row2"><input class="post" type="text" name="subject" size="50" tabindex="2" value="{SUBJECT}" /></td>
		</tr>
This mirrors what is in the prosilver version of the template.

Personally I would suggest doing something like "subsilver3" and based it on prosilver and use inheritance.

I should note that subsilver2 doesn't have many of the new features added to prosilver, so basing your subsilver theme on prosilver guarantees your users would have those features.
I'm quite happy with the subsilver2_3.1.1.zip package. Works very fine...
only issue for me is the disappearing of the Username of the logged-in user at all :(

Besides the often mentioned drawbacks of subsilver2 compared with prosilver-based styles, you should at least install the revision matching the one of your phpBB installation. In case it's phpBB 3.1.9 => https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/ ... _3.1.9.zip

Just for your info: there will be no subsilver2 for phpBB 3.2 ... ;)

little bit late, but just wanted to say: thanks guys, had been very useful hints!

it is to expect that Allan Style - SUBSILVER will be further developed, e.g. available for 3.2.x, isn't it?

Since it's an unofficial style, you'd have to ask the style's author if his intentions are to continue development heading into 3.2.x. You can do so in the dedicated support area for the style in the CDB. :)
