Yes, that's done the trick.
What browser do you use? Most have developer tools now so it's fairly easy to view the css for a selected area.

Pondlife,

I mostly use firefox and sometimes chrome.
I did view online the codes, but, gets me to confused as to where what is..
(especially today)

I really appreciate where to change the post area. I will focus on that for now.
lumpy suggested the background was not really too purple and didn't look that great.
I might just add another type of background to replace that

again, thank you, I will give it a go and see what happends.

can't thank you and everyone that replied to my post enough. I really do appreciate it.
I try very hard to figure things out for myself, but, after awhile, I get boggled and too many hours spent.
