If not, I'll add it to my list. I'll need that later myself :P But I will not do that soon, so if anyone other feels free, I would appreciate that.
Any chance to have it as a stand alone single bbcode?

Forum software differs from how URL BBCODE is used.

Some use this with double quote line used. [url="address"]address[/url]. Or even this with single line quotes used [url='address']address[/url]

While phpBB uses this [url=address]address[/url] (without any brackets). That can confuse users who may be used to other forum software that works different to phpBB when adding URL BBCODE manually. That problem would be gone using pop-up boxes you just add name and url into.

Not to mentioned you have to manually click in first BBCODE and add an = sign before pasting the URL after it. The advantage of using pop-up boxes are obvious, time to move into year 2015.

The text editor used now would be soooo much better if it dealt with IMG and URL as pop-up boxes. I like the default plain text editor in phpBB and this could easy be done using jQuery added stock

You mentioned the 'Advanced BBCode extension', which he replies to by asking whether an extension can be made for this bbcode alone, so the 'Advanced BBCode extension' does not have to be installed. I guess.

This was the case on the 3.0 mod version, it is no longer on the 3.1 extension and that is unfortunate ... If you realize this, I guess it will not be compatible with Advanced BBCode extension...?
Sorry for my bad English, I do not speak any language (French speaking), I use a translator...

Any coder can do that by giving full credit to the original 3.0.* mod author ;)
