[split from] [RC] Custom Code - character count

Hi,
I need to add a characters count when create/edit a post. No need to store this information in DB, only a "cosmetic" enhancement.
Cutting all the bbcode/html was the best.
The "little" problem is I dont have any experience with phpbb logic and behaviours, but I think this extensions can be useful for my duty.
Can anyone help me?
