Captcha extended

Post by iorG19 » Sun Dec 25, 2016 4:12 pm

Hi dear developers, :D

I was thinking if someone knows how to implement existing captcha in use at ACP - Board Configuration - Spambot countermeasures for some (extra) places.

For example:
i use captcha by google (Google recaptcha) (phpBB 3.2.x)
With this activated i want that (for example) newly registered users complete captcha when use search system and for all unregistered (guests) to have a captcha also at login panel. Of course, if this implement can be modify by options, would be awesesome; users with "X" posts bypass moderation... or something like that.

Cheers!
(Merry Christmas and Happy New Year)

At login how would you know if they are registered or not?

EVERYONE (yourself included) is a guest until they have logged in. There is no way to tell if someone is a member or not until they have logged in (or not)

The only way you can do what you are suggesting is to have the log on page followed by a CAPTCHA if member post n < x.

I can't see that there would be a great demand for that sort of Extension. (if I were a member of such a forum that would put me off posting at all)

Other than annoying members I can not see the purpose.
