can you elaborate please ..
i understrand but i mean there are similar extensions that would not take much modification to adapt to a more generic format, im looking at phpjabbers as they have several very specific scripts but nothing more generic.david63 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 8:50 amI am a coder and I can assure that it is not "simple". Not only that but such an extension will probably be quite time consuming and unless there is an extension developer with an interest in such an extension (or they have plenty of spare time on their hands) it is not something I can see happening in the short term.johnnytype2 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 8:28 am Im not a coder but it seems so simple. an extension with a number of fields and image gallery that the poster can lock when sold etc.
the market place extension is packaged for a specific template and not for prosilver, i think this is a huge mistake and not many people want to buy a template but the extension would sell easily
It works pretty well on any style, and prosilver too...johnnytype2 wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2017 2:03 pmthe market place extension is packaged for a specific template and not for prosilver, i think this is a huge mistake and not many people want to buy a template but the extension would sell easily

I would like to find out also.
You could ask the owners of those boards how they did it or what they used.
The way I see it is that a shopping cart with credit card details, addresses, phone numbers and collar sizes (look what amazon needs for membership) is a huge undertaking and, IMO, should be a standalone program not a phpBB extension, its specialised. This is probably the reason no-one has taken up the challenge. I’m not saying it can’t be done but judging by the none show of prospective authors for over a year I’d say it’s very unlikely.Duane 3NE 2NR wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2018 9:59 pmI'm surprised there aren't many phpbb extensions like this to choose from.
