It's not the same. Look into FORUM Options, not on a userbase.

ACP -> Forums -> Manage:

It's quite simple. You play a game where a story unfolds depending on dice rolls. E.g. you stand before a gate and try to open it. Dice roll determines success or failure. In case the gate opens, a monster appears and the dice roll determines whether you freeze, run of fight. In case run or fight, dice roll determines success, etc.

I see. So all the story was already written, and the mods/staff write the story and the user play that story? Or there are just rules to follow and each user will create his own story as he wants as far as it follow rules?

Hi
I have installed this - can I do different types of dice in a single roll? i.e. 1d20+1d8?

No, that's not possible. You could roll the d8 first, see what the score is and add it to the 2nd roll like 1d20+x (x ist the score from the d8 roll)

Hi,
it adds two bbcodes, [dice], and [dice=]. What is the second for? It displays nothing.

If this can be added it will be awesome, for damage rolls and so on.

There are 2 ways to roll.

You can use it without =
In case you roll 3d6, it will be displayed as: xxx rolled 3d6: 2, 5, 1

With = you have to add total, means: [dice=total]3d6[dice] with the same rolls as above in this method it would be displayed as: xxx rolled 3d6: totalscore: 8

[dice=total]3d6[/dice] does not show anything, although, I do not need it.

if I use [dice]3d6[/dice] and then delete it, it restores, but do not displayed correctly until I edit and save the message.
I checked that it adds [dice] to the end of message.
Message stored in DB under <t> tags: <t>qwerty</t> (or, sometimes, <r>), and it adds [dice] after </t>:

Code: Select all

<t>qwerty</t>
[dice]4255:0[/dice]
and therefore it does not displays correctly in post.
it should be

Code: Select all

<t>qwerty
[dice]4255:0[/dice]</t>
Maybe, this should be processed before the tags are applied.

Won't install.
The extension's page in ACP won't see it.

Is this still available via the link a few pages back? The user/password combination didn't work.

I'd love to find a dice rolling extension for 3.2!

Thanks!
