Calendar extension

Post by galaxyraverdotnet » Tue May 08, 2018 11:46 pm

Im not sure where to find what i want but all the options i have seen aren't what i need.

what i would like is for when a user posts they have the option to make that thread as a event in a events subfourm, mark it with a start date / time and a end date / time.

on the index page displayed is a list to the right with the next 7 upcoming events.
when a user clicks on the event listing on the right column they are taken to the appropriate posting associated with that event.

im not sure what this would take or how long to code as an extension but i would be more than willing to pay someone for time spent

Work in progress. Not really this way but a sidebar with filters is under development.

very cool!

my suggestion: (if it is not yet available)
on the topic thread of an event have a "attending" button to allow users to add themselves to the list of attendees.
also have the list of attending members listed at the top of each event thread

i installed the extension but can not enable as i have php 5.4.16 and not 5.5

i have installed and disabled it.

there is no way for users to add events, they must be added manually by admin.

i like this calendar............ but i can not manually add events

Consider to upgrade your PHP if you would like to test it.
Ask your host or do it yourself in your CPanel or whatever you got to administer your site hosting, it's easy.
If you are unsure about how to do that, please seek help in the Official 3.2 Support Forum here in this site. ;)

For any extension's report instead, the right topic is:

It's not true.
That depends on your settings, you can have groups filled in.
Select topics.

You would probably be better asking in the support topic for the extension - this is the extension request forum. But to answer your question - is there an Italian language pack for the extension?

No, there wasn't.
I copied the "en" folder to "it" folders and edited the lines myself.
But they weren't entries for the month's names, just a php date format.

I'm also working on a Calendar. It is a set of extensions for maximum flexibility; so that you can install according to your needs. See here.
