phpBB need a extention to hide/show part of long texts into quotes!

Hello guys, I think our big phpBB need a extention to hide part of long texts into quotes! I can see that users use a lot the function quote, so sometimes many times you can see quotes into quotes, you can see three quotes in the same post! I think that it couse a bad visual, becouse the same text exist many times into the topic, all becouse user quose a lot the same text, so when the text is long, it bring o very bad view to the topic, you need pass many time for the same long tex to read the reply to that quote. So in mobile, the situation is very bab! you need scrooll the screen many time to pass long quote many times.

I was looking for an extension similar to do this, to have less quotes text viewed in the topics, find it: viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2331461.

but that one is not good, becouse it hide/show the quote, and i think it not resolve the problem and bring some empty blocks of quote, is bad! not nice to see!

Some citations are very long and become repetitive occupying much of the topic several times.

I have noticed that several forums already have a system that hides part of the text in the quote and users choose whether to expand the quote or not by clicking a "read more..." This function would bring something very good for phpBB, because it leaves the reading faster, does not repeat long posts entirely and makes the look very pleasant.

Is it possible to insert this function in phpBB?

I suggeste hide 3 lines! Will bring a great view for phpBB, Or the criator of the extention give admin options to choose how many line each quote shoud display before show "read more button"? 1,2,3,5,10... Undastend?

Another thing! Maybe this extention alread exist! but i can not find other than Collapsed Quote. But i think callapsed extention is no perfect like phpBB is!

It do it for now, and bring a nice view! It was a alternative solution!

Why not just use this it will put the eitire quote into a scroll box.

Since for most people the alternative solution is sufficient and code doesn't write itself, that has not been implemented.
