To do it on every post, which personally I think is "overkill",
That's an understatement

How would one run a disclaimer across the bottom of every posting:
"Disclaimer: this post and the subject matter and contents thereof - text, media, or otherwise - do not necessarily reflect the views of the [name of site/domain here] administration.
Displaying such a clause in each post would make more sense if it would mention ... the views of the poster
(but then again the poster wrote it
Could you clarify? What doesn't make sense?
The poster/user is the person who is saying what they want to say.
The Admin is saying "Not my responsibility," whatever the user is writing.
the domain Forum will be a Platform not Publisher..
The owner of the Board is not accepting liability for anything the user says.
The legal action, if such occurs, must be taken against the user, not the Board.
Maybe familiarize yourself with the legal issues involved in Free Speech USA?
If it's my own post and I'm the owner, yes; it probably could be modified?
But not necessarily. In my "hat" as user, I would be completely responsible. Disclaimer wouldn't matter.
