To confirm, you've already gone to the ACP and go to Posting->Topic Prefix Management->Manage Prefixes and you've added a prefix, with the correct forum and group/user IDs set, and it doesn't show up?

Oh, excuse my ignorance, I was not putting the ID of forums and groups, but the names kkkkkkk Thank you for the warning, and while I'm not detecting any errors, I'll keep looking.

Yes, no problem. I will be making that part more user-friendly so that you won't need to use IDs but can use a multi-select, but I was focusing on the more important functionality first.

Hello! I think I found a bug.

I created 12 prefixes using BBCODE and everything was normal, but when I created the 12 and I enter it, the prefix changed. That is, I have selected a prefix and appeared another prefix.

Interesting... thanks for the bug report, I'll see if I can get it to do the same. Did you see this happen multiple times? Did it work properly with 11 but as soon as there were 12 it stopped working? Did it do this only for certain prefixes? Did you already have other prefixes assigned to the topic? Did removing the prefix and adding the corrrect one back have the same problem?

Thanks!

Hello imkingdavid! Good evening!

In some forums, where we create a new topic and we choose a prefix, it appears normally. In other forums, when we choose a prefix appears in another place, I did not choose. I do not know why this happens, the permissions are as follows for almost all of them:

Forums: 2, 4, 11, 22 (according to the IDs of the forums)

Groups: 2, 4, 5 (registered users, administrators and global moderators)

a model of a mine prefix:

Code: Select all

[b][highlight=#ae3d3e][color=#ae3d3e][[/color][color=#FFFFFF]FIXO[/color][color=#ae3d3e]][/color][/highlight][/b]
In this case, the Forum 22 (Tester) all prefixes work perfectly. However, when editing a prefix and exchange it for another, it does not appear the chosen prefix, but another randomly.

I do not know if it was clear, I am using a translator. :(

I will try to find more problems, make new tests. Its extension is really very good, I hope to help reporting errors as possible. :)

Hello! I kept auditioning and found something that might be interesting. :)

Until the eighth prefix works perfectly, even when editing. From the eighth, the prefixes do not work or start to get moving on their own.

Hmm so there must be something going wrong when there are a significant amount of prefixes. I'll need to do some testing to figure out if there's some sort of pattern I can follow to find the issue.

Thanks for testing this out!

Were you able to identify the bug I reported?

Haven't had a chance yet, unfortunately. I may be able to get to it this evening.

OK thank you!
I continued to test and really, the only problem found was this. The prefixes are automatically exchanged and sometimes do not appear.

Hey, I'm not abandoning it. I haven't been able to see that issue with the prefixes moving around, unfortunately, though I haven't really had a lot of time to test. I plan to keep working on this, though.

How can I do to put on all viewtopic pages, on custom fields a link to {prefix.TITLE} but that {prefix.TITLE} should not show "viewforum.php?f=33&prefix=2" but I want it to show all messages from that user with the prefix I clicked

Because on all my forum I'll just have 2 prefixes, Articles and Reports. I've created those 2 prefixes. Now I wanted to put below avatar a link (one for articles and other for reports) that if I clicked it will show all Articles or Reports from all forums sended by that user. And on Memberlist It was good too to have that.

Can anyone help me out on this?
